At INTER, we highly value your privacy and ensure that your personal data is handled with the utmost care and confidentiality. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
This policy applies to potential clients, existing clients, employees, job applicants, and visitors (including visitors to our website).
Inter (VCD) B.V., trading under the name INTER, does not collect or process any personal data unless you have knowingly and voluntarily provided it to us. In some cases, we may require certain information to correspond with you, fulfill a request, or complete a registration. All personal data we obtain is treated confidentially and processed in accordance with the standards set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What Data We Collect and Why
INTER processes your personal data for the following purposes:
To perform, or take steps towards performing, an agreement between INTER and the customer.
The data we process for this purpose may include:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Telephone number
Sharing Your Personal Data
INTER does not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is only shared when necessary to execute an agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Where third parties process data on our behalf, INTER enters into Data Processing Agreements with these parties to ensure an equivalent level of security and confidentiality. INTER remains responsible for such processing activities.
Data Retention
If you have requested a quotation but have not become a customer, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact.
If you have become a customer, your personal data will be retained for seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement was fully executed. This retention period corresponds to the statutory retention requirement of the Dutch Tax Authority. After this period, your data will be deleted.
Names and document numbers of visitor identification documents are retained for 12 months.
Security camera footage is retained for 28 days.
Applicant data will be deleted as soon as the candidate is no longer relevant for the position, unless explicit consent has been given to retain the data for 12 months.
Personnel file documents will not be retained longer than necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.
Services and Plug-ins
To ensure proper functionality of our website, INTER uses several services and plug-ins. Below we explain which services we use and how we may process data obtained through them.
Cookies
INTER uses cookies to optimize the functionality of certain pages on our website. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer by the website. The information stored in cookies may be sent back to the website when you revisit it.

Google Analytics
To understand how visitors use our website and to optimize its performance, INTER uses Google Analytics. Cookies from Google are therefore placed via our website. The collected data is analyzed by Google on our behalf. This information is anonymized as much as possible; your IP address is explicitly not used.
As a result, we cannot personally identify you. Google will only share this data with third parties when legally required or when third parties process the information on behalf of Google. INTER has not granted Google permission to use the data for any other Google services.
Google is a U.S.-based company, and the collected information is stored on servers in the United States. Google complies with the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (formerly Safe Harbor principles).
Social Media Buttons
Our website includes social media buttons that make it easy to share our content. These platforms use code that places cookies via our website. These cookies enable the social media platforms to collect data. Most of these platforms adhere to the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework principles.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you. If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, we will correct it upon your request.
You also have the right to request the erasure or restriction of the use of your personal data. Furthermore, you may object to the processing of your personal data or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
We will always honor your requests or objections to (specific) processing activities, except when INTER is legally required to retain or maintain your data unchanged.
